Milfoil Dodgers are designed to be the first "races" a new sailor participates in. It is designed with shorter courses and help continuously available. Coaches/instructors are able to provide tips, help, and instruction during the race itself, in order to help be sure everyone can do their best even if they forget a fundamental or two.
Who is eligible?
New sailors from all around the pacific northwest are welcome. If you've completed a sail camp instruction, this event is for you.
What do I need to bring? Do I need to have a boat?
CYC will provide boats (and sails!) for all participants. If you have an opti of your own that you'd prefer to sail you are certainly welcome but this is far from required
Similar to sail camp, be sure that your sailor comes prepared with:
* water
* sunscreen
* hat
* life jacket
* water
* snack
* clothes
* towel
* water
