Join via Zoom and listen to Janna Cawrse Esarey (Women Who Sail book curator and author of The Motion of the Ocean) as she shows fantastic pictures of her family’s attempt to sail through the Northwest Passage, a route newly open due to climate change. In 2018, Janna and her husband, Graeme, left Seattle to sail to the Arctic with their two tween daughters on an old raceboat called Dogbark. They made it into the ice but did not make it through to the other side, so they devised a Plan B that included Hawai’i and the South Pacific instead.
