The Corinthian Yacht Club (CYC) of Seattle actively supports our women members who are exploring, strengthening, and expanding their goals in sailing. 

Women-focused activities include:

WOWSA - Women on the Water Sailing 

WOWSA is a 3-week learning series that takes place over three Friday evenings in June. Members share their boats and time for women to experience sailing. This is a great way to end the week - on the water making new friends. You can choose to learn about racing techniques or have a more relaxed experience. Everyone returns to the Clubhouse for dinner and more friendship making. The participants have a variety of experiences - many sailors choose to bring their friends who have never sailed before on this event. The cost is generally $90 for CYC members and $150 for non-CYC members. Sign up for the event generally starts in March and fills up fast.
