WOWSA (Women on the Water Sailing) created by the Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle is an opportunity for women to learn and build comradery among female sailors of all levels of experience. The main goal is to have fun and form friendships with those who have a shared love for being on the water.
Coaches and other women crew will share their knowledge and help you develop your sailing skills. Please note these are all volunteers and WOWSA is not an official learn to sail class. The biggest requirements are enthusiasm!
Typical things you will learn - parts of the boat, safety, getting the boat ready, getting sails up, SAILING, wind direction, and teamwork.
WOWSA takes place on Fridays, May 3, 10 and 17.
