Lil’ Optimist Guppies is a one-night-per-week ongoing program that meets in 2 1/2 hour classes each Wednesday evening during our Wednesday PHRF racing. Parents should have their children at the clubhouse by 5:00PM each night for the start of class.
Designed as an introductory, hands-on class, the focus is on helping kids become comfortable in and around sailboats. Lots of games will be intermingled with beginner sailing with the goal of FUN!
Students must turn 5 before 1/1/12 and must not have turned 6 before 6/1/11 (min. age 4.5 / max. age 7). Must be able to pass a swim check to participate. Please email juniors@cycseattle.org with any questions.
