Corinthian Yacht Club’s Education program is not aimed at beginning sailors, though they are certainly welcome in our seminars. There are several opportunities to get into sailing and racing, and it truly is easy and fun to get involved. We recommend that one way or another you get instruction from knowledgeable sailors and build on the basics.
First of all, there are several organizations, both private and public, that offer lessons for all ability levels. A listing of these follows.
Secondly, get on our crew list. Many skippers are eager to have novices on board and help them learn about and get into the sport, both on larger and smaller boats.
