To get to CYC at Shilshole from From the North on I-5:

Take exit 172 west onto 85th street. Go west right to the end of 85th, turn right on 32nd Ave NW to Golden Gardens Drive, then go down the hill, under the rail road and continue south on Seaview Ave 1 block to the Shilshole Marina.

Note that if you are towing a boat or are driving a large vehicle, 32nd Ave NW has several very sharp turns and the railroad bridge has limited clearance.  The bridge has a posted clearance of 9′ 11″.

From Downtown Seattle:

Go west on Denny Way to Western Avenue and then turn right onto Western Avenue traveling north.  Stay on Western (it changes its name to Elliott Avenue West and then to 15th Avenue West), cross over the Ballard Bridge until you reach NW Market Street in Ballard (would be named NW 55th Street if it were a numbered street).   Turn left  onto NW Market Street and continue to travel west through downtown Ballard.  Bear left at the Sloop Tavern (on your right) and Stone Garden Gym (on your left) towards and past the H.M. Chittenden Locks (on your left).  Continue on this road – the road will bend to the north, then west across the railroad tracks, and then north again, turning into Seaview Avenue North.  Continue north about 1 1/4 miles after crossing the railroad tracks, past Ray’s Boathouse, West Marine and the Shilshole Marina office, all on your left.  Our floating clubhouse is in the northern end of the marina at Pier V.

From the South on I-5 or from the University of Washington

If coming from the south on I-5, take the 45th Street exit and head west on 45th Street (if starting in the U. Washington area, head west on 45th Street).  Just after crossing  Stone Way North, bend right to 46th Street and stay in the right land lane as you go under Highway 99.  After about one mile, 46th Street will change its name to NW Market Street.  Stay on NW Market Street through downtown Ballard. Bear left at the Sloop Tavern (on your right) and Stone Garden Gym (on your left) towards and past the H.M. Chittenden Locks (on your left).  Continue on this road – the road will bend to the north, then west across the railroad tracks, and then north again,  turning into Seaview Avenue North.  Continue north  about 1 1/4 miles after crossing the railroad tracks, past Ray’s Boathouse, West Marine and the Shilshole Marina office, all on your left.  Our floating clubhouse is in the northern end of the marina at Pier V.
