Sound Wednesday Night Spring Series Starting on April 2^nd, 2008
and Interim Series Starting on May 7^th

Both series sponsored by Osteria La Spiga

Registrations: The Wednesday Night Interim Series starts on May 7^th. Please register by Monday May 5, at 12:00 noon. Of course, if you can register earlier without waiting until the last moment, please do so. We will really appreciate it, as it will help all of us in making reasonable class breaks.

Series Sponsor: Osteria La Spiga is sponsoring the Spring Series by providing awards, in the form of gift certificates, for the top finishers in each class.

Awards: In classes with 6 or more racing boats, the top 3 boats will receive awards; In classes with 4 or 5 racing boats, the top 2 boats will receive awards and in classes with 3 (or less) boats racing, the top boat will receive the award at the end of the series. Please note that awards will be based on the number of boats actually racing, not the boats entered or registered. Therefore, this is one more reason to convince your friend to race in the Wednesday Night Series.

Class Breaks: we will try to post preliminary class breaks on Monday. The final class breaks and flags will be posted at the CYC Clubhouse by 12:00 noon on Tuesday April 1^st. See Wednesday SSI. They will be posted on the web site that evening.

Kattack: As for all other CYC races, it will be possible to track and view your boat performance in the Wednesday night Series using the Kattack Race Player software.

Thanks to North Sails for setting up and supporting the Kattack system. The easiest way to upload your GPS track after the race will be to download it to your computer and mail it to Jack Christiansen (eMail: jackc@sales.northsails.com ). The Kattack Race Player can be downloaded free from www.kattack.com.

Registrations: The Thursday Night Interim Series starts on May 8^th. Please register by Tuesday May 6, at 12:00 noon. Of course, if you can register earlier without waiting until the last moment, please do so. We will really appreciate it.
